Yes! Exactly. You should have done it. It needed a Hurts fan who could talk about something beyond football (or even, you know, talk about the children's book, which could, in turn, show something about his character). I thought Jalen even sounded disappointed with the interview (there was a reason they chose GQ after all). My overall sense was that it didn't reveal anything new or really accomplish anything other than fawning. To be totally honest, I thought a woman should have done the interview.
aw that means a lot. i agree, the interview wasn’t anything new and Jalen’s comment towards the end definitely hinted that he wanted it to go differently. i feel like it also isn’t that common for him to do external interviews outside of press so it feels like a missed opportunity in a way.
