don’t worry, i made us a resy (and yes it's worth the drive)
leaving subway delays and crowded sidewalks behind to chase farm to table dreams
Okay, so imagine this: we drive about an hour out of the city, past all the packed trains during holiday, and end up in what feels like an episode from Hannah Montana.
That’s my description of Blooming Hill Farm. It’s one of those places that makes you forget how fast you were moving an hour ago.
Very quickly became one of my most anticipated spots on my food bucket list and I have to say, it does live up to the hype.
Everything tastes super fresh, almost like it actually came from right outside (because it did).
The entire atmosphere is relaxed but thoughtful. The staff were super kind, the space feels cozy, and you can tell they care about what they’re serving and how they’re serving it.
I’m happy I get to share this spot with you because it is my favorite of the year and I made us a resy :)

orders:
French toast bread pudding - this was so delicious, it wasn’t too sweet, but tasted very fresh and authentic. it’s just so beautiful too.

Farm smash burger - loved this burger, super light and tasty.

Iced coffee with oat milk - i would pass on this. i did enjoy it, but you can see by the color, it’s mostly milk lol

This is just a small teaser, for now. There’s so much more on the menu that we can try together one day.
helpful tip
Download a map of the area ahead of time. reception can be spotty once you’re close to the farm, so it might be best to save directions on apple maps.
10/10 worth the drive.
and if you need me, i’ll be back at Blooming Hill pretending i live there.
talk soon!
:)
